After a long winter Bob and Gia are excited to do a live show at California Woods Nature Preserve. They had a blast talking with kids and adults about the nature of spring.

Enjoyed hearing about your visits from Carolina Wrens. They are the state bird of South Carolina and live here year round. I love to see them in my yard and often here them before seeing them as thehey can be quite vocal for such a small bird. For me a sign of Spring is seeing them eating the insects – that have returned when the weather warms up. Got to love a bird that eats insects in your yard and does free bug extermination.
