Dear Bob & Gia,
Thanks for doing a show about a bird in California. I live in Woodside south of San Francisco surrounded by these guys & I never knew their name.
I get lost sometimes with all the East Coast / Kentucky/ MidWest references. I am glad when you take time to explain places, birds, animals etc out there for those of who have no clue.
I am also surrounded by mt lions, bobcats, deer, hawks & bald eagles. While hiking, I saw a bald eagle here for the first time in my 30 years here. I think their habitat is changing as their numbers expand. It was incredible I felt like saluting – 😉
Thanks for your show.
Bob
Wow seeing a bald eagle for the first time is something you will always remember! I still remember seeing my first one from a canoe up in the Boundary Waters.
