I am new here on your site which was recommended by an old chum still living in Cincinnati. So, I thought I would log on and see what you guys are all about. My hubby and I lived in Cinti. for 21 years and loved it (Anderson Township and New Richmond.). We would go to visit the wonderful reserve area you speak of and were overwhelmed by the huge snails (we LOVE Escargot) in the lakes /pond areas there. Of course, these guys would have to be cleaned from now until forever to get all of the’ 849583y6294587′ out of their tender bodies, if they would ever be considered for consumption. And we would, but we will leave it to the pro’s in France you keep snail farms as a livelihood. Looking forward to more of you newsy stuff. I was, by the way, a BIO. major at B.G and also a docent at Krone’s Conservatory. I LOVE Cincinnati and would move there , except for the fact that we are here in a flatter area andd warmer climes in Jacksonville, FL. Keep up the fun and education!
