Excellent podcast! Fascinating, fun, and life changing-I guarantee you I will never see a bat the same way again.
As usual, you have opened my eyes wider, expanded my knowledge, and created an admiration in me for a little creature that I had previously little information about.
As a new “podcaster”, I cannot begin to tell you how appreciative I am to have found your podcasts! I savor the fascinating facts of the world around me as I listen to them every morning on my run through a local forest preserve. When I get home from my run, my husband always asks, “So, what did you learn about today?”.
I am beyond grateful to you Bob for continuing the podcast since Bill passed away. I grew to instantly love him when I started listening to the older podcasts and was so sad when I learned of his death. You and he were truly birds of the same feather. His legacy lives on and I know that he would be honored and proud of your work.
Thank you, thank you, for all you do to encourage me and all your listeners to “Step outside and stay awhile!”.
Keep up the excellent work!!!
Bob
Susan so nice to know that you think I am honoring Bill’s legacy. I promised Bill I would like him do this for as long as I could. Promise or not I love doing this! Thanks for inspiring me!

Bob,
Great episode about bats with Merlin Tuttle.
I’ve been looking into building a bat house with my 5 year old grandson to build a bat house. Information on the web about them is overwhelming. So, hearing that Merlin has a new book with details about bat houses and certified suppliers was good news to help us get started. Can you send me information about the book so I can get a copy?
Thanks and best to you and Beth
