I really enjoyed this episode. I discovered Northern Sea Oats at a local garden center about 10 years ago. Here in the South Carolina Low Country I have found them to be hardy and drought tolerant. Also when planted near the salt air of beaches they do well. When mine multiply I transplant some to a new location in the yard.
Native grasses are the way to go!

We have not had much rain in Cincinnati and our Sea Oats are also doing great! Native Grasses are indeed the way to go!
