I loved this! But I am like Bob’s dad in that I have these cute little critter(s) all around my house. And it creeps me out. And they’re throughout the neighborhood. Some people are drowning them but I’m just trying to repel them with moth balls.
I was surprised you didn’t make a bigger deal of their climbing. Never have I seen that before nor have I ever heard of it.So far I’ve seen them go up and down my trees, skitter across a wooden back fence, and scamper all over my deck.
Can you assure me this is really only one little one? And I am scared they are trying to tunnel into my basement. Anything for me to be worried about there?
In our opinion it is pretty rare for a chipmunk to get into a basement. They prefer natural tunnels made of dirt.
